Recued Bull Recieves First Bed Of Straw

Jan 1, 2016 By Herbert Collier

Started by Michael Aufhauser and Irene Florence, Gut Aiderbichl is an animal sanctuary based in Austria. The organization started small, only housing 25 animals, but has been growing steadily since its inception. Today, Gut Aiderbichl has 25 sanctuaries in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and France in order to provide the best care to over 5,600 rescued animals.

The organization focuses a lot of their efforts on larger animals such as horses and cattle, but they also take in sheep, pigs, and goats. These animals are difficult to keep in conventional shelters, so the sanctuary does its best to care for those that are often overlooked.

As you can see from this recently-rescued bull, their efforts are very much appreciated.
