There is probably no more famous child act than the Jackson 5. When they arrived on the scene, America was enamored by their catchy tunes, high-pitched vocals and of course, their killer dance moves. That’s what these five third-graders were attempting to imitate when they stepped out on stage for their elementary school’s talent show. Needless to say, they were more than impressed.
Their teacher, Malinda Williams, wanted to show her students the importance of the arts, so she set up a talent show with the theme “The Sounds of Motown.” Other acts included The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin. No doubt this was a show these kids will always remember.
