Ski-Jumping Record Is Broken Twice Within 24 Hours

Feb 21, 2015
23-year-old Anders Fannemel is a skier hailing from Norway. Anders has been ski jumping since the age of 14, but first made his way to the World Cup in 2009. He finished in 10th place. Now, years later, he is showing his true ability.

On Vikersund Hill in Norway, Anders soared a full 251.5 meters, breaking the world record. Interestingly, 22-year-old Slovenian ski jumper Peter Prev had just broken the same record the day prior at 250 meters. Unfortunately for Peter, it was an extremely short-lived victory.
