Artists are constantly pushing the boundaries of what defines art, as there are an infinite number of ways that art can take shape. For Simon Beck, art is a combination of his experiences in nature and how he chooses to leave his mark on it.
Famously known as the "Snow Artist," Simon actually used to have an office job. He graduated from Oxford University and majored in engineering before working in the field for several years. He always had the propensity to draw elaborate geometric shapes as a child, and that eventually led him to leave his desk job to become a cartographer.
Eventually his love for landscapes, cartography and geometric shapes combined into the work he calls Snow Art. What starts out as just lines in the snow eventually turns into breathtaking works of art.
