A Stray Cat Interrupts This Concert In The Most Hilarious Way Possible

Thirty years ago, cats began to take up residency on the American University of Beirut campus. Many were refuges of war, left with no place to call home after the devastation of the 1983 Beirut bombing. Perhaps they were attracted to campus due to the smells of cafeteria cooking or the presence of kind humans, but either way, they decided to stay.

Rather than shoo the cats away, AUB adopted humane practices to deal with the population. The cats have regular veterinary care (including neutering), daily feedings and access to adoption. It’s no wonder that they have become a beloved part of campus, by students and faculty alike.

Most of the time the AUB cats keep to themselves, but every once in a while, they cause a bit of a ruckus. What happens at this concert made us laugh so hard, we just had to share it.
