The Company Behind MINI Cooper Unveils Augmented Reality Glasses That Make Driving Safer

This week, BMW Group/MINI debuted a new design collaboration with Qualcomm and Osterhout Design Group, which is based in San Francisco. The three collaborated to create a prototype of MINI Augmented Vision glasses, which were designed to create a better driving experience.

In fact, they are allowing drivers to connect in a way that few car manufacturers have even considered. The high-tech glasses allow the drivers to have better vision both in and out of the car and even have such advantages as X-ray vision, of sorts, to see where other objects are to avoid accidents.
