As far as impossible tasks go, putting a duvet cover on is right up there with discovering Atlantis or winning a World Series with the Cubs. Suffice to say, it's pretty difficult. It seems like it should be a simple task, and then you go to do it and the corners are mismatched, everything is wrinkled, and you don't know which way is up anymore. There has to be an easier way, right? Well, thanks to one very creative woman, we have found the answer we have long been looking for.
On the morning show Meredith, Stephanie Sisco demonstrated her "burrito" method of putting on a duvet cover that's so easy, the audience was left in shock and awe. Stephanie is the associate editor of Real Simple magazine, a publication that specializes in sharing these types of unique household tips. She starts by laying the duvet out flat and holding down the ends with safety pins. Then, she rolls it down as if she is wrapping a burrito, and tucks in the two ends. As she unrolls it all, the duvet is perfectly in its cover and the audience erupts in applause.
If you follow Stephanie's step-by-step instructions, you'll save a huge amount of time and energy next time you go to make your bed. If only she could come up with a simple hack to get the Cubs to win a World Series, then everything would be perfect.
