A study by the Bureau of Labor Statistics looked at data over 30 years and found that the average American will have held about 11 different jobs between the ages of 18 and 44. Given that entry-level work in almost any field is usually far from glamorous, it's safe to say that most have held some less-than-enjoyable jobs in their past.

It may sound hard to believe, but most Hollywood superstars were once regular people with terrible jobs too. In this interview, the cast members of the latest installment of Marvel Studios' blockbuster franchise "Avengers" sit down and reminisce about what some of their worst jobs were. There's a lot of the standard stuff like car wash, delivery driver and store clerk, but writer/director Joss Whedon's hilarious last answer is definitely the one that takes the cake.
