These Street Performers Are World Famous For Their Unique Sound

Mar 16, 2015
New York City is known for the various musicians, artists and performers who make a living entertaining crowds on the streets or in subway stations, but have you ever heard of street musicians so popular that they're selling CD's in the morning before they even set up or start playing?

That's not uncommon for Too Many Zooz, the band performing in this video. The trio consists of trumpet player Matt Doe, baritone saxophonist Leo P. and drummer David "King of Sludge" Parks. Their self-described "brass house" sound is influenced by jazz, EDM and African drumming, and they take pride in being 100% acoustic in the age of digital auto-tune. After gaining mass fame on YouTube, they're now on the road in Europe.
