Meet Itty Bitty Hope, a wonderful miniature horse who was born recently at the Mystic Rock Miniatures Ranch in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Just 14 inches tall at birth, Hope tied the record for the smallest horse, and she continues to be one of the smallest colts. Of course, her parents are also miniatures, and there were doubts that her mother, Jazz, was even pregnant. What makes Hope special, though, is not her size - Hope is set to become a great therapy animal. Her owners, Jim and Linda Woods, run a nonprofit called Mini Hooves of Love, which specializes in miniature therapy horses. Because of Hope's size, they believe that she will captivate and bring comfort to the lives of many. For now, Hope is still nursing, so she can't be away from her mom for very long, but she can certainly go on hospice and hospital visits if mom tags along.
