They Share Their Fears On Camera To Show That No One Is Alone

Feb 19, 2015
JacksGap is a hugely popular YouTube channel owned and operated by British twins Jackson (Jack) and Finnegan (Finn) Harries. The channel was started in 2011 to document Jack's travels during his gap year (i.e., a year off between high school and university). As they gained popularity, the brothers decided to use their fame to support good causes, such as the Teenage Cancer Trust, for which they drove across India in rickshaws and raised over $180,000.

As this video shows, JacksGap subscribers are primarily teenagers. Teenagers are very susceptible to all kinds of anxieties. They often feel like they are completely alone, and suffer in silence. As this video shows, however, sharing these experiences can be immensely empowering.
