YouTube user Evelien Lohbeck was born and raised in the Netherlands and attended school at the Art Academy of St. Joost in Breda. She received a degree in animation in 2008. By the time Lohbeck graduated, she had created and designed 17 short films among numerous other works.

Initially working at Neatorama, a video aggregator site, she currently works as a freelance designer, animator and concept artist. In her spare time, Lohbeck creates projects like "Deskloop," where she sets off chain reactions with items on her desk and desktop screen.
