This Guy Is Going For "Uncle Of The Year" With This High-Flying Stunt

Jun 18, 2015

It's difficult to determine exactly why, but there's something about uncles that makes them special. Maybe it's the willingness to make a huge mess for the sake of fun, or maybe it's the uncanny ability to pull off stunts like this one. Even when it's made on a kid-sized hoop, a slam dunk is an exhilarating act. If you need more convincing, just take a look at the NBA All-Star weekend, where a competition is devoted solely to the extraordinary shot. Since its inception in 1976 (where the Nets' Julius Erving took home the title), the contest has changed formats but always featured the flashiest and trickiest moves. Last year saw a return to the original format, with the Timberwolves' Zach LaVine beating out three other dunkers for the win.
