This Tiny Service Dog Only Weighs Three Pounds But He's Making A Big Difference

They say some of the best things in life come in small packages – well, Norbert is a perfect example of that. This mixed-breed puppy was born in 2009, weighing only 3 pounds before his owner Julie Freyermuth adopted him. He became a registered therapy dog at age one, and currently volunteers in hospitals, nursing homes, disaster areas, and schools.

His name was inspired by the dragon from the Harry Potter book series, the American mathematician & philosopher Norbert Wiener and Saint Norbert of Xanten. Just take a look at his pictures below and you’ll fall in love.
