Nov 17, 2015 By John-Michael Bond

When Ian Parkinson was a high school student in Phoenix, Arizona, he had two passions: the Army and skateboarding. His interest in the military lead him to service in Afghanistan, where he lost both of his legs in an IED attack. Parkinson returned to the states with a long road to recovery ahead of him and a loving wife by his side, but there was only one goal on his mind. He wanted to get back on his skateboard. This short documentary chronicles one veteran’s fight to ensure that the sacrifice for his country didn’t mean the end of one of his lifelong passions. If you’ve got a challenging goal ahead to accomplish here’s your daily dose of inspiration.
