Two Guys Climb The World's Second Tallest Building With No Safety Equipment

May 12, 2015 By Archit Tripathi
A pair of Russian and Ukrainian daredevils recently posted this video of them climbing the construction site of the Shenzhen Centre building in Shenzhen, China. When completed, it will be the tallest tower in China, at a maximum height of 2,170 feet (roughly 200 feet taller than the Shanghai Tower, which is the current Chinese record holder). Both the Shanghai Tower and the Shenzhen Centre (officially called the Ping An Finance Centre) are only eclipsed in size by the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

The climbers, who have been identified as Vadim Makhorov and Vitaliy Raskalov, completed the climb without using any sort of safety equipment. The smallest misstep could have easily lead to a fatal fall, but it does make for an epic selfie. It should be noted, however, that they very strongly discourage anyone else from attempting to recreate their stunts.
