Two Stars Are Singing "Silent Night," And It Gets So Much Better When This Surprise Guest Joins Them

"Silent Night" is a world-renowned Christmas carol that has been translated into and sung in approximately 140 languages. It was written by Joseph Mohr in 1816 when he was assigned to a pilgrim church in Austria. Franz Xaver Gruber composed the melody and guitar arrangement so that it could be performed at mass on December 24th. In 1859, John Freeman Young, a priest in New York, published the melody that is used today, which differs from the original composition. And in March 2011, UNESCO declared it as an intangible cultural heritage. The song has been performed by many famous musicians across all genres. A quick search on the internet today will bring up millions of performances. Watch the video to see how these musicians sing it.
