World Record Pit Stop, Wheels Changed In 1.92 Seconds

Jun 21, 2016 By Jake Brannon

In Formula One racing, a sport that's all about speed, a few seconds can be the difference between first and last place. That's why it's absolutely vital for drivers to have pit crews who operate with as much efficiency and precision as they do. A few days ago, one pit crew from Williams Martini Racing made history at the 2016 Grand Prix of Europe with a pit stop lasting just 1.92 seconds. Mark Webber and his crew from Red Bull were the last ones to achieve this record time back in 2013. Careful - if you blink, you'll miss it.
