Lifetime Design is a charity group based out of Auckland, New Zealand, focused on promoting accessibility standards in housing and residential buildings. To facilitate this, they have developed Lifemark. Lifemark acts as a seal of approval to ensure that a building meets the accessibility needs of aging populations, infants and those who are or may become disabled. This seal of approval has garnered much acclaim as it affects such a wide group of individuals ranging from parents with strollers to those in crutches.
You never know what life will throw at you, so even if you don't currently have any special needs, a Lifemark home means that you will at least be prepared. To help raise awareness for the cause, the minds behind the seal organized this event in Auckland.
