The lure of Target is well-known in my household. I can't count the number of times that my husband and I have stopped by for a necessity, like toothpaste or toilet paper, only to find ourselves wandering in home goods or electronics 45 minutes later. Unlike other big box stores, where I feel the need to get in and get out as quickly as possible, there's something homey about Target. Maybe it's the smell of freshly roasted Starbucks coffee or the colorful, well-organized aisles, but I never mind extending my trip to explore.
And then there's the deals … oh, the deals! Between everyday markdowns and the Cartwheel app, I thought I was getting the best deals Target had to offer, and have definitely felt the sweet satisfaction of looking down at my receipt and seeing the dollar amount of what I saved. After seeing this video of how the Krazy Coupon Ladies save at Target, however, it's clear that my savings were only scratching the surface.
By combining in-house deals with coupons from manufacturers, a method known as “stacking,” the Coupon Ladies are able to compile massive savings. Would you rather buy Monopoly for $4 instead of $15? How about assorted Glade products for cents on the dollar? The methods are tried and approved by these two moms, and can all be found on their website. It's no wonder that they've amassed over 100,000 followers in just a few years. After seeing how they shop, I'm definitely a fan!
