16 No-Fuss Hairstyles That Are Perfect For Lazy Days

Mornings are usually kind of rough. I'm not a morning person but thankfully, I'm a guy who works online so I don't need to be especially presentable for work. For those of you who don't have the same luxury, there usually has to be a little more thought and effort into it, and one of the things that seems to take the longest is doing your hair (assuming it's long, that is).

For those days when you just don't feel like making a big fuss over your hair and/or you're running a little behind, here are 16 quick and easy hairstyles that will make you look great in no time.

1. The "Twisted Halo."

All you need to do for this cute 'do is twist a small section of hair and pin it to the middle of your head, then repeat on the other side. Tuck the second section into the first section and then pin it.

2. Easy chignon that's perfect for work.

Twist both sides of your hair and secure them into a low ponytail. Then, make a small hole between the base of your head and the ponytail and pull your hair through. Roll up any remainders and secure with bobby pins. Clean and professional!

3. Side braided ponytail.

French braid a section of your hair and then gather all your hair into a ponytail. Hide your hair tie by wrapping a small section of hair around it.

4. Tight, neat bun.

Use a hair doughnut to get a perfect bun and then braid the remaining hair into two braids. Wrap these braids around the bun and secure with bobby pins.

5. Super simple twist-and-pin.

To add extra style, place bobby pins in an X shape. Add volume by teasing your hair first (especially if you have fine hair).

Sweep your hair to one side, then gather the section around the nape of your neck and tie it with a hair tie.

7. Gorgeous tuck-and-cover.

Place a headband on your head, then take a section of hair on one side and loop it around the headband until you reach the middle. Repeat on the other side.

8. The bow bun.

Pull your hair into a messy bun, but leaves a small section loose. Separate the bun into two halves and pull the loose hair over, securing with bobby pins.

9. Five minute curls.

Gather your hair into a ponytail, and use a curling iron to curl small/medium sections of hair. Finish off with hairspray and then remove the ponytail. Shake it out and you'll have lovely curls.

14. The side-braid illusion.

Gather your hair into a ponytail, make a small opening just above the hair tie and then pull the ponytail through. Gently tighten and then wrap another hair tie about two inches below the first one. Repeat the process until you run out of hair.

15. Knotty side pony tail.

Give your hair a little hold with some styling mousse and then separate into two sections. Tie them into a knot and secure with a hair tie. Add extra oomph by combing or teasing the pony tail.

16. Messy braided bun.

Gather your hair into a ponytail, and then braid it. Pull the braid forward and secure it to the top of your head, then roll the braid inward and pin it underneath your ponytail's elastic band. Add more bobby pins to secure it in place.
