Rhythmic gymnastics is many people's favorite part of the Summer Olympics. Rhythmic gymnastics is similar to typical gymnastics with one major exception: rhythmic gymnasts uses props. These props include a ball, club, ribbon, hoop, and rope. One of the earliest types of rhythmic gymnastics was called eurythmics, and was a form of physical training for musicians and dancers. These training drills were a series of exercises set to music that were designed to promote grace of movement, muscular flexibility, and good posture.
