Having a soldier return after a deployment is always a special event. Sometimes, it's a happy one, with parents, children and even pets exclaiming, cheering and shedding happy tears. Unfortunately, though, sometimes the return is not a joyous one, like in this story. Again, there are tears, but ones of sadness and grief.
In these cases, the only thing that can be done is accord the fallen soldier their rightful honors. Standard honor military funerals include the presence of a military chaplain, the draping of the flag over the casket with honor guards to act as pallbearers, the firing of a three-volley salute and the playing of Taps by a lone bugler, among other traditions.
