Pygmy Goat Abandoned By Mother Finds A New Home
The world is full of celebrities. From actors to musicians, there are millions of people all across the globe with fans who would do anything to meet them. But what about animal celebrities? You probably know Grumpy Cat, or the Taco Bell Chihuahua, but there's a new animal on the scene that people are dying to meet.
Benjamin the pygmy goat is stealing the hearts of everyone in the U.K., and, after you see this video, you'll understand why. Benjamin was orphaned when he was only 6 weeks old because his mother was unable to rear both him and his twin. Thankfully, the good folks at Pot House Hamlet in Yorkshire were more than happy to take little Benjamin. The tiny goat with a big spirit didn't waste any time making himself feel at home around the hamlet. Along with his new "father," Tom, Benjamin spends his days running around his brand new home. While pygmy goats are mainly kept as pets, some can be used to produce milk or even work on farms.
Benjamin won't stay this small forever, and he'll soon be turned loose into the fields, so those in the area are taking advantage of every moment they have with him before he goes. Local children have made trips to the hamlet just to see Benjamin, transforming him into a local celebrity of sorts. In fact, he's even got his own Facebook page! We hope that Benjamin's fame doesn't go to his head and that he stays the same loveable little goat that we all fell in love with.
