Work can be very stressful for most people. Being stuck in an office from 9 a.m.to 5 p.m. isn't necessarily everyone's ideal day. But, an animal shelter in Florida is looking to make the office place a bit more enjoyable.
Animal-assisted therapy (AAT) has been a widely accepted treatment for years, which invites animals into a typical therapy session to help move things along. It's been proven very useful for many patients, so the Humane Society of Broward County decided to take it a step further.
With their newly launched service, Snuggle Delivery, the Humane Society will do a cuddle run for just 150 dollars, letting everyone enjoy the company of their furry companions for about an hour at a time.
For the moment, the service is only available in Southeastern Florida, but the Humane Society is hoping to expand this service soon and, before you know it, you'll be hauling baskets of kittens into your office on a Monday morning.
