Afropop "Frozen" Cover Is The Best "Frozen" Cover
We know, we know, you've heard this song a million times. Especially if you've got kids. Hopefully by now, your kids have stopped playing it on repeat. And singing along to it. And making you sing along to it. And dancing along to it. And--well you get the idea.
But with Halloween coming up, there are bound to be hundreds or thousands of little Elsas roaming the streets looking for candy, going to halloween parties and in all likelihood, demanding to hear that song again.
The good news is, we've got this wonderful take on the enormously addictive and popular hit from "Frozen," interpreted by the talented Alex Boyé, who was already becoming quite popular for his "Africanized" versions of hit songs before this cover of Frozen sent his fame soaring, with 75 million views to date. Tapping into his own cultural heritage and a powerful voice, Boyé teams with the One Voice Children's Choir and the talented Lexi Walker to bring a fresh perspective to this well-known tune.
