Sharks are pretty scary; that's something that very few people would debate. Even a small shark is terrifying to encounter. But this shark? She's being called "the biggest shark ever."
Mauricio Hoyos Padilla, a diver and shark expert, shot this footage off the coast of Guadalupe Island in Mexico. Padilla, who is employed by the Discovery Channel, estimates that the shark is at least 50 years old and 20-plus feet long. Incredibly, she was pregnant when this was filmed.
Padilla added the following caption to his video: "I give you the biggest white shark ever seen in front of the cages in Guadalupe Island ... DEEP BLUE!!!"
He's definitely found something impressive.
