How To Upcycle Your Old Bath Towels
Rugs are an important part of every bathroom. If your bathroom has a shower in it, a rug is an absolute necessity. Have you ever tried getting out of the shower without one? It's not only dangerous, but you end up tracking water everywhere, getting dirt and dust stuck to your wet feet in the process. Unfortunately, some bathroom rugs don't even do a good enough job of drying your feet to make a difference.
That's why we were so excited to find this hack from HGTV that originally aired ten years ago. You know it's a good hack when it's still just as relevant now as it was back then. Here, Linda Facci shows us how to make a bathroom rug entirely out of old towels, something that most people have an abundance of in their home. Whenever we buy new towels, the old ones always end up getting pushed further and further back into our closets. We tell ourselves that we need them in case we ever have to shelter 20 unexpected guests, but the reality is that those towels could be put to much better use.
All it takes is some simple cutting and sewing for you to transform three of your old towels into a trendy bathroom rug. We think this technique would look especially cool if you used towels with designs on them. Check out the video below to learn how you can make one of these awesome bathroom rugs yourself.
