Boy, Blind, With Autism, Sings 'Lean On Me' And Rocks The House
When Christopher Duffley was born, doctors didn't hold out much hope for his survival. Born premature, with cocaine and Oxycontin in his bloodstream, the staff at the hospital worked a miracle to save him. Unfortunately, his mother's substance abuse left him blind. As he got older, his caretakers noticed he wasn't speaking. Diagnosed with autism, blind, and placed in foster care, it wasn't the early childhood any parent would want for their child.
But then Christopher began to sing. He was adopted by his aunt, and has made tremendous strides. After becoming a viral sensation, the talented young man has some impressive performances under his belt, and keeps his fans updated through vlogs on his YouTube channel. And he's smiling all the way. Christopher is proof that with a little help from some loving individuals, and a lot of hard work and determination, you can overcome any obstacle.
