Celebrate Fall With These Easy Candy Corn Cookies

It's October, and that can only mean one thing: Halloween is almost here! All around me I see the signs - pumpkins, cider, changing leaves and most importantly, candy corn. Yes, I am aware that if I really wanted it I could probably get it year-round but I swear, it just doesn't taste as good any other time of year.

In case your love for candy corn doesn't match mine but you still want to feel festive, why not make some candy corn cookies as seen in this video? They look just like the real thing, but taste like cookies. If you don't love cookies either, then I'm sorry, we can't be friends.

Did you know that the humble candy corn was invented in the 1880s by George Renninge, a candy maker from Philadelphia? Back in those early days it was called "Chicken Feed," which is definitely a way less appetizing name.
