This Corgi Is An Escape Artist

If you're like me, you've always thought of corgis as one of those incredibly loveable, cartoonishly adorable, cute house dogs, that aren't actually good for anything except giving people love and starring in awesome YouTube videos, like this one from Barcroft Media.

Now, those are two very important jobs for dogs, but I was very mistaken when it comes to this sturdy little breed. They're actually a working dog, herding livestock by nipping at their heels. Their short stature was bred so they could easily avoid getting kicked by their herd, and corgis are as fast, strong, and tenacious as the job requires. Maybe if Dan McLaughlin had known all this, he wouldn't have been so surprised when he set up this hidden camera to figure out how his young corgi puppy, Beau, was escaping all the time.
