Dancer's Stunning Performance Leaves Judges Gasping In Disbelief
Epic doesn't even begin to describe Kenichi Ebina's dance style. The Japanese-born performer is certainly one of a kind. Ebina's unique moves make up their own genre, "dance-ish," drawing from hip-hop, martial arts, and freestyle. Before appearing on and winning the eighth season of "America's Got Talent," Ebina founded dance group BiTriP, which won the grand championship of the Apollo Theater's "Amateur Night." He made history by winning the grand championship again, as a solo artist. Among various TV appearances, he was also invited to speak at TED Talks 2007 to describe his "magic moves." His rampant use of technology in his performances also led him to develop his own app, "Dance-ish Me," which allows users to move like Ebini.
