A Flight Attendant Is Leaving Secret Notes To Spread Positivity
Plane rides, just like anything else in life, can go be good, bad and everything in between. Sometimes the airborne journey is inherently good because the destination is vacation; sometimes it's more of chore because business meetings lie ahead. No matter the purpose, though, flight attendants can always be counted on to make things pleasant ... especially if you've got a cabin crew filled with people like Taylor Tippett.
At first, all attendants were male. When the first female was hired in 1930, she was meant to fill the role of a nurse. The lack of jobs open to women led to young females applying in droves to work on airplanes. Just six short years later, almost all flight attendants were female and they still dominate the field today.
