It's easy to forget about the overwhelming number of creatures that exist on planet Earth. Every animal has their own unique habitat, diet and behavior. Certain instincts that make perfect sense to them might look completely baffling to us. It's safe to say that whoever saw starlings perform a murmuration for the first time was probably pretty confused.
Starlings are small birds that live in multiple countries all around the world, including the United States. In order to scare off predators, starlings perform something called a murmuration, where they fly in unison to create the illusion of a larger creature. When you see their final appearance, you won't know whether to be scared or impressed.
