Garage Door Transforms Into Screened In Area Perfect For Rainy Days
While this roll-up garage screen door is awesome and easy, you can make your own DIY version with surprisingly little effort and few construction skills. First, you need to measure your door frame, starting and ending at the outer edges for each dimension. Then, add three inches to each side to determine how much screen material you'll need. Once you've purchased your material, lay it out flat and cut to the appropriate specifications. Fold over about two inches on each side for a "hem" and staple. Once you've got your screen cut and hemmed, take one side of a hook and loop fastener and attach it to the center of the screen. Take the other side and attach it to the center of the bottom of your garage door. Then, just roll up your screen and fasten until you're ready to use it.
