The one bane of modern existence is that nobody has yet invented a robot that will clean our homes from top to bottom without spending millions of dollars.
So until that blessed day arrives and we can all put down our cleaning implements for eternity, we're going to have to keep cleaning by hand.
That means that the best approach to cleaning is to try and take as much effort out of the task as possible, without compromising on the cleanliness of the end result.
So, with that in mind, we've put together 15 super tips designed to make cleaning your home much easier for you.
1. Microwave Cleaner
Want to clean the microwave but don't want to deal with caked on dirt? Put half a lemon and some water in a bowl, microwave until the water boils, then wipe down the inside of the microwave.
Toilet brushes only need replacing because they're not cared for properly. Put some cleaning solution in the base and it will last nearly forever.
3. Blender Cleaner
You don't have to wash a blender. You just fill it with warm and soapy water. Then turn it on for 20 seconds. Then rinse it off.
You don't need to do your hand washing at a special time. The best time to get it done is when you're already having a shower.
5. Perfect Pots And Pans
Pan got burned? No worries. Fill it with water and vinegar (in a 1:1 mix) and boil. Then remove from the heat and add 2 tbsps of baking powder. Pour the gunk away and quickly scrub clean.
