16-Year-Old Girl Puts Down The Book And Hits It Out Of The Park On The Drums
You don't have to be an experienced drummer to take one look at this performance and see the depth of the talent displayed. She might have a way to go before she's a worldwide drum master, but Senri Kawaguchi looks like she was born with drumsticks in hand.
Born in the suburbs of Nagoya, Japan in 1997, Kawaguchi waited a full five years before she started to play the drums. Just three years later, she began tuition with the famous drummer Kozo Suganuma. By the tender age of ten, she had a few TV appearances under her belt, as well as a reward from "Rhythm & Drums Magazine." Since then, she's performed live on tour and won endorsement deals from Yamaha Drums and Zildjian Cymbals and Drumsticks, all while still in school.
