Trimming Trees With A Helicopter
There's something about a helicopter that always makes people stop and stare at the sky. Is it a politician rushing to an important event? A group of rescue workers fighting to save a life on the way to the hospital? A group of tourists taking in an (expensive) view of the area? Either way, they inspire curiosity, probably because few of us actually have the chance to ride in one. In our nation's capital, a helicopter tour costs an average of $500 for 45 minutes – an unforgettable, but costly view.
However, no helicopter has ever inspired awe in us quite like this one. As it skillfully cuts back trees with a massive trimmer, it's impossible to look away. It's a little nerve-wracking as it comes close to power lines, but whoever is piloting clearly has immense skill and control. If I saw this on the side of my highway, I would have to pull over and watch it firsthand!
