Let's face it: it's just not summer until you've had some corn on the cob. It's the taste of summer, but it does take some serious work if you're buying it au natural - a.k.a. still wrapped in the husk and silk.
Getting rid of these is a time-consuming process, but thankfully, America's Test Kitchen came up with a brilliant method to get the job done in no time!
1. Starting at the stalk end, slice off the tip one inch above the final row of kernels.
2. Put corn on a plate and microwave for 2-4 minutes.
3. Grab the corn by its uncut end, then shake and squeeze. The corn should slide right out husk and silk free.
