In addition to being delicious, they're incredibly easy to make, and can be customized with your favorite ingredients. The classic recipe involves potatoes and cheese, but you can take things a step further by adding extra toppings such as bacon and sour cream. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Potatoes (obviously!)
- Olive oil
- Sea salt
- Cheddar cheese
- Sour cream
Start by cutting the potato in half along its length and cutting oval rings into the potato. After that, flip over the potato and make cuts on the outside skin. Make sure you avoid cutting the middle of potato or all the way through the potato. You’ll then need to flip it back, sprinkle some sea salt, then splash on a tablespoon of olive oil. Cover the potatoes with aluminum foil, preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit, and let it cook for an hour. After an hour, you’re ready to add all the other ingredients.
