Any park worth its salt boasts about the changing of the seasons. But, there is one park in Austria that takes it to the next level.
Even though there's no snow, the park is lusciously green in the wintertime, with a lake that's between three and six feet deep.
This serene body of water is known to locals as "Grüner See", which translates to "Green Lake." Seems like a big title for a lake, right?
Maybe not: Every spring, when the snow and ice melt, the water level rises at an alarming rate.
By summer, that same bench is 40 feet underwater.
Even though the entire park is underwater, it still gets visitors in scuba gear (fewer picnics, though).
