With temperatures threatening to hit triple digits in many places (and actually doing it in some), an icy treat is just what everyone needs. Enter this one-ingredient watermelon sorbet.
Grab a watermelon and cut it up or, if you want to make your life even easier, buy some that has already been cubed.
Arrange the pieces on a baking sheet in one even layer, and put the tray in the freezer for at least two hours.
Remove the watermelon from the freezer and ready your food processor.
Divide the cubes into batches and puree until completely smooth. Pour each batch into a cake pan, smoothing and compressing each layer.
When all the fruit has been pureed and transferred to the cake pan, stick it into the freezer for another couple hours.
When you're ready to enjoy your treat, remove the pan from the freezer and let it sit for about five minutes to soften. Scoop out your serving (or eat straight from the pan) ... bon appétit!
