Keep Your Feet Warm This Winter With This One Simple DIY
One of my biggest winter woes is that I feel like my feet are constantly frozen. I'm from a warmer climate so my constitution just isn't made to withstand the frozen north. At home, I crank my heat up on full blast and keep my bedroom downright tropical, but anytime I'm not home, I'm cold. That constant feeling of cold numbness in my toes is the worst and I've spent countless dollars on good warm winter boots, heavy socks and even those little hand and foot warmers.
Although the latter definitely works pretty well, it's a pain to have to keep buying them. These are single-use items and there's no way to conserve their heat energy for later - once you activate one, it'll just keep going until it burns out. This simple trick by the IntenseAngler YouTube channel helps eliminate that problem with a very simple fix. All you need to do is make a shoe insert out of one of those reflective sun shields people use for their cars. The reflective material insulates from incoming cold and also reflects body heat back to your feet to keep them toasty.
