KLM's "Lost And Found" Team Uses Dogs To Help People Recover Their Property
There's nothing worse than losing a cell phone on a plane. KLM felt the pain of their passengers and wanted to help. At the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, KLM found a perfect solution to their problem. Enter Sherlock, a beagle who sniffs out the phone and reunites it with its owner with the help of a specialized lost and found team. Sandra List, one of KLM's Lost and Found Team, says, "Our main goal is to return lost items to the owner as fast as possible." Passengers have, of course, been charmed by Sherlock. While the beagle program is still in beta and only used sporadically in Amsterdam, KLM says it's considering a variety of options to ensure that passengers and all of their belongings have as comfortable of an experience as possible.
