Mom Teaches German Shepherd To Howl "I Love You"
According to the American Kennel Club, German shepherds are the world's leading police, guard, and military dog. They're most commonly used for tracking criminals, patrolling dangerous areas, and holding suspects. Their dependability has led them to being one of the United States most popular breeds of dog and are considered to be fearless, direct but also great with families and children. The German shepherd originated in 1899 in Karlsruhe, Germany. Captain Max von Stephanitz and others bred the dog from herding dogs and other farm dogs. Strongheart and Rin Tin Tin are two canine film stars who have their own stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. German shepherds can come in many colors but the most common is black and tan.
