Mother Polar Bear Jumps Into Water To Save Her Drowning Baby
They say that a mother's work is never done, and that seems to be true. No matter how old children may become, a mother will always be a mother, wanting to make them a warm meal when they're ill or hug them when things just aren't going the right way.
This polar bear is no exception. She's not exactly the "typical" mother, of course, but her maternal instincts are out in full force in this video. When her baby starts playing by the water, she knows that she needs to keep watch, because this little one is too young to swim yet. When what she feared happens, she jumps into action to protect her child. What a great mama bear.
