US Navy Presidential Ceremonial Honor Guard Performs In Norway
The United States Navy Ceremonial Guard is one of the prestigious military units that you often see during the Presidential Inauguration and other official government events. They have many other important ceremonial tasks, often delegated by the President himself. The most somber of these is serving as the honor guard for all Navy personnel buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
Being a member of this unit requires a lot of drilling, training, and more drilling. Whether carrying the colors or marching in line, everything must be done with absolute precision. This footage from a drill team demonstration in Norway shows just how precise these sailors get. Remember, those are real bayonets.
