9-Year-Old Banjo Player Picks Like A Pro

At 11:30 p.m. on a weeknight you'd expect most kids to be in bed getting a good night's sleep. You would definitely not expect them to be appearing on a late-night television program in front of a screaming crowd. Believe it or not, that's exactly what Jonny Mizzone, along with his brothers Robbie and Tommy, are doing on a Monday night. Equipped with their banjo, fiddle and guitar respectively, these three form the bluegrass band "Sleepy Man."

At ages 9, 12 and 13, each of these three brothers could be considered a prodigy. One of the most famous musical prodigies is Yo-Yo Ma, who played for John F. Kennedy at the age of seven. Becoming this talented at a young age requires an incredible amount of discipline, as well as natural talent and passion. After watching their performance, there's no doubt that these brothers have all three of those things.
