An Onion In Your Socks May Be The Cure To Break Fevers
You don't have to be Shrek to recognize the power of onions. It might sound crazy, but there is a lot of evidence that onions can provide a benefit to those suffering from a fever. In the 1900s, onions were used in Europe to fight off the plague. Later, they were used in America to prevent the winter flu. It seems like an old wives' tale, but there are many who swear by its success.
When Riley caught an awful fever, her mom decided to try out this theory by placing onions in her daughter's socks. Riley, though confused, cooperated kindly. After a few hours, it started to work. The next day Riley was fully recovered and scarfed down her breakfast. What do you think? Do onions have natural healing powers? Let us know in the comments.
