Twenty-two years ago, Patrick Swayze was one of the biggest stars in the world. He could sing, he could dance, he could act, so it was no surprise that he got asked to perform at the 1994 World Music Awards. What did surprise the world was that he took the stage with his wife, Lisa Nieme. The whole world watched as the two lovers danced to Whitney Houston's "All The Man That I Need."
Patrick Swayze was still enjoying the Dirty Dancing afterglow so this was a huge draw to a TV audience. The two met in 1970 when Patrick was only 18-years-old and Lisa was taking dance lessons from Patrick's mom. Those dance lessons would pay off in a big way, as evidenced in this video.
Even Whitney Houston was moved by this performance. The whole thing is a beautiful tribute to Patrick Swayze's talent and a reminder to enjoy the beautiful things in the world before they're gone.
